I would be remiss in not mentioning the owner of the company, John, who made several visits to my home to personally check on the work and answer even more questions. Capstone is great! We had them do a complete remodel of our pool. They resurfaced the pool, installed new coping, all new plumbing, added a spa and gas heater, and built a new concrete pool deck with proper drainage. The project took a few months.
Russ was fun to work with. He’s incredibly knowledgeable. He’ll give you his opinion, but is always quick to say he’ll do whatever you want. He knows it all and we felt like we could trust his advice.
His crew was amazing! They were always so polite and respectful. They took lots of care to ensure areas that weren’t being touched by the project were kept safe. They also were great about cleaning up. When they were done with the project, all we had to do was jump in the pool….

Their crews are very efficient, and show up when they’re supposed to. We had Capstone move our pool equipment from the backyard to the side of the house. They also put new coping and stonescapes plaster. In case you’re wondering what color the water is, it’s Stonescapes aqua cool Puerto Rico blend. Highly recommend Capstone for your pool project.
We recently finished an extensive remodel of our pool with Capstone (after many bids and extensive research). They were exceptional. I recommend them to anyone considering an overhaul of their pool. For our project they refinished and replaced the tile of our main pool, the infinity trough, and the hot tub. They were meticulous tilers and every person took pride in their craftsmanship. Their project lead, Travis, worked with us as our changes cAme and went. They replaced all of the equipment with brand new salt water system (from chlorine), as well as an overhaul of our bar b que. they spruced up the rocks and surrounding coping and mastic. It came out beaUtiful and we are super pleased.
I’m not much of a Yelp rater but I wanted to recognize Capstone for a job well done. High quality job, open to requests – ” we were picky about our stone”, polite and efficient workers. They do get busy so it takes a while to get them. They were recommended to me and I am passing along my recommendations. I deal with vendors and construction all day and I was very favorably impressed!
We had Capstone resurface our pool and replace the pump and heater. I could not be happier with the work or with the overall experience.
